I Need A Website !

I am available in social media having my  account on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked -in , YouTube and you name it I am there..

Why should I have to have a website !!!!

All those social media channels I mentioned are really great for creating awareness for one’s company, products and services you may agree. It is just assumption that one can market and grow his business online ONLY through social Media channels.

Creating Awareness is just a stepping stone your marketing efforts and must be augmented with lead capture, nurturing and calls to action to turn that attention from social into customers.

Assume your business/website as a vehicle , social media can be regarded as wheels, but they are useless of their own. Having owning the vehicle you can control the path your visitors take.

Having a website can four fold your business. These are great of help for any business;
Collecting leads : Set up email marketing opt-ins on your website and filter them off to your CRM.
Educating audience : Write epic blog posts, with embedded videos, checklists and audio to be wherever is most convenient for your audience.
Pulling: free traffic off the internet : Perform SEO on your content and get it optimized to rank.
Getting Potential Customer: This could be a local, online, sales, and basically any type of business needs a website. If you want more potential customers having a website is essential. You can a fair amount of information about what type of customer you are dealing with when you have a website.
Leverage being Owner: Having your own site gives you something that you own and control. Even if you hosting company were to go out of business, you can just move elsewhere. It’s your site and your content, to do with as you please.

Virtual Office : A Website is your virtual office. Lets talk for ourselves. Whenever we have to cross check on any company, the first thing we look for is their Website.
Branding field : Your Website is your Branding field, your promotion tool and your marketing platform. There are innumerable value adding things possible with your website.
Credibility of a Business: Once on the Website, we start looking for details in the “About Company” section and of course, we always check the address out in the “Contact Us” option.
Keeping up with Business trend : From the fact that when was the website last updated to the website being “Secure” or “Not secure,” we judge the company by all that is visible on the Website.

So in short, yes you definitely still need a website today Because you need one!

The few things you need for a website are a domain, web hosting, and website builder or website Developer. There are people and organisations like Easygolife Web Solutions in Mumbai provide services helps your website up and running since a decade.

Share Social Button in email and pages

I was pondering with a request from client  to integrate the share button in the email generated through his registration page.

Wandering a while I started gathering information by visiting few of the social media sites  like Facebook, Linked in, Twitter,  google+  etc . Linked in is more prefered as this is B2B platform and got a wide range of professionals. and on web sites who share this info.

These may help you saving your time as I did 🙂 hoping one site to other. Only aim to avoid use of  java scripts.

Lets start from Linked in ;

http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=%5Bwebversion%5D&title=%5Bcampaign subject] &summary=[summary description]&source=

In order to make this work, you will have to manually add these values yourself with the help of a URL encoder, eg.

Now lets add all the social media button ;

The css you will have to  between <head></head> is look like this ;

<style type=”text/css”>

#share-buttons img {
width: 35px;
padding: 5px;
border: 0;
box-shadow: 0;
display: inline;

The Html  part will be in between  <body> </body>

and within this “< div id=”share-buttons” > button codes</div >”

Change is the only constant thing in life !

In 1998, Kodak had 170,000 employees and sold 85% of all photo paper worldwide.

Within just a few years, their business model disappeared and they got bankrupt.

What happened to Kodak will happen in a lot of industries in the next 10 year – and most people don’t see it coming. Did you think in 1998 that 3 years later you would never take pictures on paper film again?

Yet digital cameras were invented in 1975. The first ones only had 10,000 pixels but followed Moore’s law. So as with all exponential technologies, it was a disappointment for a long time, before it became way superior and got mainstream in only a few short years. It will now happen with Artificial Intelligence, health, autonomous and electric cars, education, 3D printing, agriculture, and jobs. Welcome to the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Welcome to the Exponential Age.

Software will disrupt most traditional industries in the next 5-10 years.

Uber is just a software tool, they don’t own any cars, and are now the biggest taxi company in the world. Airbnb is now the biggest hotel company in the world, although they don’t own any properties.

Artificial Intelligence:

Computers become exponentially better in understanding the world. This year, a computer beat the best Go player in the world, 10 years earlier than expected. In the US, young lawyers already don’t get jobs. Because of IBM Watson, you can get legal advice (so far for more or less basic stuff) within seconds, with 90% accuracy compared with 70% accuracy when done by humans. So if you study law, stop immediately. There will be 90% less lawyers in the future, only specialists will remain.

Watson already helps nurses diagnosing cancer, 4 times more accurate than human nurses. Facebook now has a pattern recognition software that can recognize faces better than humans. In 2030, computers will become more intelligent than humans.

Autonomous cars:

In 2018 the first self-driving cars will appear for the public. Around 2020, the complete industry will start to be disrupted. You don’t want to own a car anymore. You will call a car with your phone, it will show up at your location and drive you to your destination. You will not need to park it, you only pay for the driven distance and can be productive while driving. Our kids will never get a driver’s license and will never own a car. It will change the cities because we will need 90-95% less cars for that. We can transform former parking space into parks. 1,2 million people die each year in car accidents worldwide. We now have one accident every 100,000km, with autonomous driving that will drop to one accident in 10 million km. That will save a million lifes each year.

Most car companies might become bankrupt. Traditional car companies try the evolutionary approach and just build a better car while tech companies (Tesla, Apple, Google) will do the revolutionary approach and build a computer on wheels. I spoke to a lot of engineers from Volkswagen and Audi; they are completely terrified of Tesla.

Insurance companies will have massive trouble because, without accidents, the insurance will become 100x cheaper. Their car insurance business model will disappear.

Real estate will change. Because if you can work while you commute, people will move further away to live in a more beautiful neighborhood.
Electric cars will become mainstream until 2020. Cities will be less noisy because all cars will run on electric. Electricity will become incredibly cheap and clean: Solar production has been on an exponential curve for 30 years, but you can only now see the impact. Last year, more solar energy was installed worldwide than fossil. The price for solar will drop so much that all coal companies will be out of business by 2025.

With cheap electricity comes cheap and abundant water. Desalination now only needs 2kWh per cubic meter. We don’t have scarce water in most places, we only have scarce drinking water. Imagine what will be possible if anyone can have as much clean water as he wants, for nearly no cost.

The Tricorder X price will be announced this year. There will be companies who will build a medical device (called the “Tricorder” from Star Trek) that works with you phone, which takes your retina scan, you blood sample and you breathe into it. It then analyzes 54 biomarkers that will identify nearly any disease. It will be cheap, so in a few years, everyone on this planet will have access to world-class medicine, nearly for free.

3D printing:

The price of the cheapest 3D printer came down from 18,000$ to 400$ within 10 years. In the same time, it became 100 times faster. All major shoe companies started 3D printing shoes. Spare airplane parts are already 3D printed in remote airports. The space station now has a printer that eliminates the need for the large amount of spare parts they used to have in the past.

At the end of this year, new smartphones will have 3D scanning possibilities. You can then 3D scan your feet and print your perfect shoe at home. In China, they already 3D printed a complete 6-storey office building. By 2027, 10% of everything that’s being produced will be 3D printed.

Business opportunities:

If you think of a niche you want to go in, ask yourself: “in the future, do you think we will have that?” and if the answer is yes, how can you make that happen sooner? If it doesn’t work with your phone, forget the idea. And any idea designed for success in the 20th century is doomed to failure in the 21st century.

Work: 70-80% of jobs will disappear in the next 20 years. There will be a lot of new jobs, but it is not clear if there will be enough new jobs in such a small time.

There will be a 100$ agricultural robot in the future. Farmers in 3rd world countries can then become managers of their field instead of working all days in their fields. Aeroponics will need much less water. The first petri dish produced veal is now available and will be cheaper than cow produced veal in 2018. Right now, 30% of all agricultural surfaces is used for cows. Imagine if we don’t need that space anymore. There are several startups who will bring insect protein to the market shortly. It contains more protein than meat. It will be labeled as “alternative protein source” (because most people still reject the idea of eating insects).

There is an app called “moodies” which can already tell in which mood you are. Until 2020 there will be apps that can tell by your facial expressions if you are lying. Imagine a political debate where it’s being displayed when they are telling the truth and when not.

Bitcoin will become mainstream this year and might even become the default reserve currency.

Right now, the average life- span increases by 3 months per year. Four years ago, the life span used to be 79 years, now it’s 80 years. The increase itself is increasing and by 2036, there will be more that one year increase per year. So we all might live for a long long time, probably way more than 100.

The cheapest smartphones are already at 10$ in Africa and Asia. Until 2020, 70% of all humans will own a smartphone. That means everyone has the same access to world class education.

Barter can help Start-ups !

Networking in Business is  a need in any sized business. Crores of rupees have been spent on promoting a business. Irrespective of quality of products and service its  the aggressive magnitude of advertising makes the products or service  imposed in the end users mind. But how many able to sustain the tug of war of this advertising spending. Many wore out of the race and few keeps dominating.
Now India vows to encourage start-ups. Make in India and Stand up India is the initiative which has shown some hope of ray in most of unemployed inspiring enthusiastic younger mind to reach for their dream.
The setting of an enterprise is not a piece of cake. Even if someone started operation then it becomes a herculean task to position your products or services among thousands existing. Then start-ups need to have a pause for hounding co-founder to pump fund in the halted operations.
Yesterday, 9th April 2016, I had a chance to attend BizPaye meet in Subham Villa , Madh, Mumbai organized by Mr. Vineet Rastogi, CEO & Founder of BizPaye and it was for invitees only.4
Bizpayee operates as a trade exchange, facilitating trading transactions, developing the member network, marketing its products and services across members, maintaining records & accounts and importantly underwriting transactions.
My feeling is that it helps increase the buying potential of its member basing on the future potential of their own goods and services . Have you ever think of buying a diamond ring work of 5 lac without draining a single coin from your bank account! I witnessed and surprised. Surprised to realized how it made a young entrepreneur cashing tune of  30 lakh in cash value to his favor. Have you ever imagined your life can change within an hour of listening Life transforming address without letting your purse upset? How a young boy continuing his study and still become a manufacturer of vending machine and able to position this product and felt his product online without spending a little  cash , Of course, I was instrumental in floating his website through #Easygolife . I also feel nice without receiving cash too though I had to raise bill. That’s the power of Barter I just realized yesterday.
Not only BizPaye helped existing business owner in clearing their surplus but also helped the young entrepreneur to strengthen its root in the business arena. The entrepreneur needs to pay cash for the setting of his office, taking help of an advocate, floating his website and social networking, getting tips from the industry leaders. Its was just a feeling to do business with pleasure. Even to sip a Vodka, whiskey or a can of Beer also you are restricted to pay cash . That the power of Barter I felt. Kudos to its member, what the ethics and value they add to its platform! It is really worth participating.
My opinion the future of Barter is bright ; as the government of India spends crores of rupees on churning the currency notes every year and liberty in taxation in the use of credit and debit card and  more such initiatives. Bizpaye as a bartering platform got a worth for involvement and participation.

Hajir Ho…!

Have you ever heard of a parrot has been detained by police ? Have you ever come across any story of a goat arrested for trespassing, faces up to 7 years in jail?

If you are in India , you certainly must have sip of these news.

We are taking about Start Up India, Digital India, Clean India and this episode is  categorized into  “ ????” India.

Does people in India have trust on judicial system!.  Many  in India fear judicial system to lodge a complaint as they feel it’s not their cup of tea. Justice is always delayed and the common verbatim is that Justice delayed is justice denied.

Cases keep pending for years, some cases the person lavishing in jail for years to get justice.

“Sometimes, I wonder at my system. Here is an appeal of the year 2013 which gets a quick hearing. In how many cases are we doing so? That’s why poor man feels that the system cares only for known persons and the unknown persons (common man) gets ignored,” a bench of justices H L Dattu and SJ Mukhopadhaya said on September 12 while dismissing the plea of former Haryana chief minister Om Prakash Chautala.

Sometimes court admitted saying that We are sorry to say that the court’s time is being used by senior advocates and big criminals.

“We can say on oath that only 5 per cent of the time is being used for common citizens, whose appeals are waiting for 20 or 30 years. This court has become a safe haven for big criminals. You come here for the sixth or eighth time for anticipatory bail and we should hear as if we were a trial court.”

The Supreme Court came into being on the 28th of January, 1950,  two days after India became a Sovereign Democratic Republic.

Everything including life style of Indian has been improving but Judiciary system is sluggish.

It’s always demanded for an improvement;

We all have great expectation that Judiciary system in India should improve.

Salman Khan: Bollywood star jailed for five years over hit-and-run crash.Khan was found guilty of culpable homicide, negligence and driving under the influence of alcohol when he crashed his Toyota Land Cruiser into a group of rough sleepers outside a bakery on the night of 28 September 2002.

“We are not running away from responsibility,” Shivade said, adding that Khan’s Being Human charity had helped underprivileged communities across India. It had funded heart surgery for 600 children, he said, while others mentioned Khan’s donations of around £20,000 to his victims and willingness to give more.

“After going through the arguments put forth by both sides, I have come to the conclusion that five years is proper punishment,” the judge told the packed court. ( India news media)

While going through this news I could came across so many such incidents in past that make the safe footpath to death path, a few illustration to substantiate my thoughts;

In 1999, Sanjeev Nanda, then a Wharton Business School student,[1][2] ran over six people, including three police officers. While Nanda and several related parties were initially acquitted and released in a trial in 1999,[3] Nanda was later found guilty in 2008 and sentenced to two years in prison, which was reduced to time served, a large fine, and two years of community service by the Indian Supreme Court in 2012.[4]

The case attracted media attention, and was viewed by India Today as “a test of the judicial system’s ability to take on the powerful”

The case inspired the Bollywood movie Jolly LLB (2013) starring Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani.[11]

It is well known fact that more than half of its citizen lives in slums and pavements. Justice may take it course, may be sooner or later. Would we have any mechanism to stop that accident or prevent people from sleeping at footpath. The Lure to the life of  Urbanisation and the lust for livelihood sometimes becomes cause for such unfortunate incidents. Local bodies may have a substantial role with cooperation of civic body, NGO’s,  traffic controller to direct or assign the footpath dweller to some safe location.  Lets hope the  Footpath should not be death path even to a single poorest soul of our India.

There are so many ways to spend your summer vacation. You may attend swimming class, art workshop, ballroom dancing or academic classes.

It is also very interesting to have group tours with your family; friends or co-workers to any vacation spots that you think are very exciting.
This summer, there are those who offer discounts on planes, ferries and buses.

Others who are financially well off may thought to go overseas, explore some places all over the world and try to educate themselves of the different cultures of different people.

Our own country, Philippines, can offer so many exciting places like Boracay, a white sand beach resort where most of local celebrities visit this site for they can do whatever they want freely without so much hassles of the show business world.

There are also traditional, architectural obras during the Spanish Era in our country. We can find that in Ilocos Region.

In Zamboanga; southern part of our country, you can enjoy seeing colorful vintas, pearl divers and fresh fishes of different kinds.

You can also have an excitement in horseback riding in Baguio City, northern part of the Philippines. The Burnham Park can also offer a boating equipment to add the vacationers a truly wonderful time. There you can see some natives of the place dancing ethnics you may add to your lists.

In addition are the falls of Maria Christina, Limonsodan, Pagsanjan and many more.

If and then cash is limited, why not stay at home, play computer games, eat outside the house or have some picnic in the patio, play volleyball or any kinds of sports or outdoor games and or plant some flowers, vegetables and trees.

Another smarter idea of spending summer is to have a general cleaning, laundering, patching, fishing, carpentry works and other beneficial activities.

You may also add tutorial jobs to toddlers or children in nursery and kindergarten age.

Can you decide now? Well it’s up to you. The only thing you should consider is not to get bored. Make your summer unique and memorable.

Housewives too need insurance!

It is always men who are considered as the soul breadwinners in a family. May be this could be one of the many reasons that insurance companies target mostly men for insurance. To be more specific, an income earner is offered insurance and reasons comes out quite clearly as to why housewives are offered limited choice when it comes to insurance.

Soul mate, life-partner, queen of the house- best describes her. The duties and responsibilities discharged by her are incomparable and unmatched. You might have insured yourself sufficiently and hence buying an insurance cover for your wife may be the last thing on your mind. Infact a majority may find themselves in a similar state where they have not even thought of insuring their wives. You may buy everything for her but she too requires financial protection as much as you do.

Many of them believe that life insurance is suitable only for the earning member of the house. Those sharing a thought similar to this should know it is nothing but a myth. There is no reason strong enough to keep a homemaker out of the insurance protection net. The need of financial independence is as much as any other income earner would have. Try performing the duties that she discharges like taking care of the house, children etc., may sound ridiculous but all of these activities would get affected immeasurably in her absence. Hence when planning to insure your wife, consider the expenditure of all these services if you were to get it done from an outside source. The net sum that you derive should be the amount used to insure her.

But the irony lies in the fact that insurance companies do not offer all the policies to housewives. For instance, some of the insurance companies do not offer term policies. There are few insurance companies that offer policies catering specifically to women.
The reason why insurance companies do not offer all the policies to housewives is that they are not income earners. In such a situation the husband should step in the scene and should take charge of insuring her.

A woman gives up her job to take care of her family that forms the top place in her priority list. Only choosing not to work makes her unreasonably stay out of insurance protection. Don’t you think it’s high time for the low statistics of uninsured housewives to change and see a rise in the number of insured housewives?

May The World Be Free of AIDS: Prevention is Better Than Cure

Lets Spread the word about prevention of HIV/AIDS
HIV stands for human immunodeficiency virus. This is the virus that causes AIDS. HIV is different from most other viruses because it attacks the immune system. The immune system gives our bodies the ability to fight infections. HIV finds and destroys a type of white blood cell (T cells or CD4 cells) that the immune system must have to fight disease.

Risk Factors for HIV Transmission

You may be at increased risk for infection if you have

injected drugs or steroids, during which equipment (such as needles, syringes, cotton, water) and blood were shared with others

had unprotected vaginal, anal, or oral sex (that is, sex without using condoms) with men who have sex with men, multiple partners, or anonymous partners

exchanged sex for drugs or money

been given a diagnosis of, or been treated for, hepatitis, tuberculosis (TB), or a sexually transmitted disease (STD) such as syphilis
received a blood transfusion or clotting factor during 1978–1985
had unprotected sex with someone who has any of the risk factors listed above

Preventing Transmission

Your risk of getting HIV or passing it to someone else depends on several things. Do you know what they are? You might want to talk to someone who knows about HIV. You can also do the following:

  • Abstain from sex (do not have oral, anal, or vaginal sex) until you are in a relationship with only one person, are having sex with only each other, and each of you knows the other’s HIV status.
  • If both you and your partner have HIV, use condoms to prevent other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and possible infection with a different strain of HIV.
  • If only one of you has HIV, use a latex condom and lubricant every time you have sex.

If you have, or plan to have, more than one sex partner, consider the following:

  • Get tested for HIV
  • If you are a man who has had sex with other men, get tested at least once a year.
  • If you are a woman who is planning to get pregnant or who is pregnant, get tested as soon as possible, before you have your baby.
  • Talk about HIV and other STDs with each partner before you have sex.
  • Learn as much as you can about each partner’s past behavior (sex and drug use), and consider the risks to your health before you have sex.
  • Ask your partners if they have recently been tested for HIV; encourage those who have not been tested to do so.
  • Use a latex condom and lubricant every time you have sex.
  • If you think you may have been exposed to another STD such as gonorrhea, syphilis, or Chlamydia trachomatis infection, get treatment. These diseases can increase your risk of getting HIV.
  • Get vaccinated against hepatitis B virus.
    Even if you think you have low risk for HIV infection, get tested whenever you have a regular medical check-up.

  • Do not inject illicit drugs (drugs not prescribed by your doctor). You can get HIV through needles, syringes, and other works if they are contaminated with the blood of someone who has HIV.
  • Drugs also cloud your mind, which may result in riskier sex.
    If you do inject drugs, do the following:

  • Use only clean needles, syringes, and other works.
  • Never share needles, syringes, or other works.
  • Be careful not to expose yourself to another person’s blood.
  • Get tested for HIV test at least once a year.
  • Consider getting counseling and treatment for your drug use.
  • Get vaccinated against hepatitis A and B viruses.
  • Do not have sex when you are taking drugs or drinking alcohol because being high can make you more likely to take risks.

To protect yourself, remember these ABCs:

  • A=Abstinence
  • B=Be Faithful
  • C=Condoms
